This is a unique opportunity for rising senior students of Lake County. They are hosting an Intro to Business class, taught by CLC staff on the college campus, for high school students. They will only run the class if enough students from Lake County express interest, so we will put all registrants on a waiting list. Registration will close May 13, and CLC will notify us by May 19th if the course has enough enrollment to run. You will not be charged until that time. The CLC price is consistent with our other courses- $390. You will pay us and CLC will invoice the school. Students must meet the
College Reading and Writing Readiness required by CLC to be qualified for the class. Qualified students will enroll in CLC once it is determined if the class is running.
Students will receive a P/F grade on their high school transcript for completion of this class. Passing grades earn the .5 CTE elective credit. You will need to submit a copy of your transcript that shows a passing grade in this class to the Associate Principal for Curriculum and Instruction to get the class added to your D127 transcript.
No D127 transportation is available as this is not a D127 class, and it is not running on our campus, so only students who have transportation to and from the class should sign up. This class will be placed on a CLC transcript and is transferable to other 2 and 4-year colleges.
